Hanson won 10-3 against Carolyn Suley (St. John's, NL). Hanson went on to lose 9-6 against Jessica Daigle (Fredericton, NB). Hanson responded with a 8-6 win over Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK). Hanson won 11-3 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Truro, NS). Hanson went on to lose 8-7 against Jamie Sinclair (Manotick, ON). Hanson lost 9-4 to Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) where Hanson responded with a 9-3 win over Sarah Dumais (Levis, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
