Arkhipov won 5-3 against Gustav Eskilsson (Malung, SWE), then won 9-3 against Korey Dropkin (Wayland, USA) and 5-4 against Smith. Arkhipov won 6-4 against Andre Neuenschwander (Zurich, SUI), then won 10-3 against Marek Cernovsky (Praha, CZE) and 8-3 against Eirik Mjoen (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
