Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) won 6-4 over Jocelyn Nix (Halifax, NS) in the Final Arsenault advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Nova Scotia Scotties , held January 22 - 27, 2013 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Arsenault finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Kelly MacIntosh (Dartmouth, NS) 5-2, then won 9-3 against Coralie Duchemin (Sydney, NS) and 7-0 against Marg Cutcliffe (Halifax, NS). Arsenault won 8-5 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS). Arsenault went on to lose 5-3 against Heather Smith (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 9-1 win over Nix. Arsenault won 9-3 against Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Arsenault earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 24.788 total points. Arsenault ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.200 points earned so far this season.
