Sweeting went on to lose 9-7 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB). Sweeting responded with a 6-4 win over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Sweeting went on to lose 7-4 against Crocker. Sweeting lost 8-7 to Kristie Moore (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
