Menard won 6-5 against Lemay, then won 7-2 against Jean-Francois Royer (Montreal, PQ) and 6-5 against Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, PQ). Menard won 6-5 against Martin Ferland (Quebec, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Quebec Tankard Championship title, Menard earned 7.600 world rankings points, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 135.935 total points. Menard ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 64.965 points earned so far this season.
