Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) won 6-3 over Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) in the Final Birt advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the PEI Scotties , held January 23 - 27, 2013 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Birt finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birt defeated Lisa Jackson (Charlottetown, PEI) 8-2, then won 7-3 against Tammy Dewar (Montague, PEI) and 6-2 against Dolan. Birt won 9-6 against Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the PEI Scotties Championship title, Birt earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 38.731 total points. Birt ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.225 points earned so far this season.
