Hamel went on to lose 7-4 against Allisson Ross (Montreal, PQ). Hamel responded with a 8-6 win over Quebec's Sian Canavan. Hamel won 9-6 against Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ), then won 7-6 against Belisle in their final qualifying round match.

Hamel earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Quebec Scotties . For week 24 of the event schedule, Hamel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
