Julie Hamel (Chicoutimi, PQ) run at the 2013 Quebec Scotties came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-6 loss to Eve Belisle (Montreal, PQ). of the 2013 Quebec Scotties in Victoriaville, Quebec;

Hamel finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hamel defeated Melanie Bernier (Victoriaville, PQ) 12-1, then won 10-5 against Roxane Perron (Trois-Rivieres, PQ) and 10-2 against Brigitte Gosselin (Sherbrooke, PQ). Hamel went on to lose 7-4 against Allisson Ross (Montreal, PQ). Hamel responded with a 8-6 win over Quebec's Sian Canavan. Hamel won 9-6 against Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ), then won 7-6 against Belisle in their final qualifying round match.

Hamel earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Quebec Scotties . For week 24 of the event schedule, Hamel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hamel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
