To advance to the championship game, Grattan won 8-3 over Jason Vaughan (Saint John, NB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Molson Canadian Men's Tankard in Fredericton Junction, New Brunswick;
 
Grattan finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan lost 6-4 to Eldridge, then responded with a 7-6 win over Marc LeCocq (Nackawic, NB). Grattan won 6-4 against Paul Dobson (Saint John, NB). Grattan went on to lose 8-7 against Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Grattan responded with a 7-1 win over Shaun Mott (Gladstone, NB). Grattan won 5-2 against Adam MacDonald (Woodstock, NB), then won 9-3 against Vaughan in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Molson Canadian Men's Tankard Championship title, Grattan earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 119th place overall with 11.800 total points. Grattan ranks 87th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.000 points earned so far this season.
