Vaughan went on to lose 9-3 against Grattan in their final qualifying round match.

Vaughan earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Molson Canadian Men's Tankard, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 160th place overall with 6.700 total points.
