Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) won 7-5 over Joe Frans (Bradford, ON) in the Final of the The Dominion Tankard, held February 4 - 10, 2013 in Barrie, Ontario.

Howard finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) 7-2, then won 8-1 against Rob Rumfeldt (Guelph, ON) and 9-1 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON). Howard won 6-5 against Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON). Howard went on to lose 8-3 against Frans. Howard responded with a 9-1 win over Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON). Howard won 6-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON), then won 9-2 against Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON). Howard went on to lose 7-6 against Darryl Prebble (Toronto, ON). Howard lost 7-4 to Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The Dominion Tankard Championship title, Howard earned 16.960 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Howard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Howard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
