Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) won 7-5 over Joe Frans (Bradford, ON) in the Final of the The Dominion Tankard, held February 4 - 10, 2013 in Barrie, Ontario.

Howard finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) 7-2, then won 8-1 against Rob Rumfeldt (Guelph, ON) and 9-1 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON). Howard won 6-5 against Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON). Howard went on to lose 8-3 against Frans. Howard responded with a 9-1 win over Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON). Howard won 6-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON), then won 9-2 against Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON). Howard went on to lose 7-6 against Darryl Prebble (Toronto, ON). Howard lost 7-4 to Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The Dominion Tankard Championship title, Howard earned 16.960 world rankings points.
