Virtue finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Virtue lost 6-5 to Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK), then responded with a 7-3 win over Michael Carss (Saskatoon, SK). Virtue won 8-7 against Jamie Schneider (Regina, SK), then won 4-2 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) and 8-3 against Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Virtue won 5-3 against Heidt in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Sasktel Tankard Championship title, Virtue earned 9.680 world rankings points, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 36.636 total points. Virtue ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.255 points earned so far this season.
