In their opening game, Korte defeated Randy Woytowich (Saskatoon, SK) 8-7, then won 7-6 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) and 6-5 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Korte won 11-8 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Sasktel Tankard, Korte take home 6.050 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Korte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Korte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
