To advance to the championship game, Konschuh won 6-2 over Wade Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in the semifinals of the 2012 The Flatiron Challenge at Lacombe in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Jessi Wilkinson (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 The Flatiron Challenge at Lacombe in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada;
 
Konschuh finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Konschuh defeated Lowell Peterman (Red Deer, AB) 7-3, then won 6-3 against Alberta's Robert Schlender and 5-4 against Jon Rennie (Calgary, AB). Konschuh went on to lose 8-3 against Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the The Flatiron Challenge at Lacombe, Konschuh take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,250CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Konschuh did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 68th to 69th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 17.805 total points. Konschuh ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.525 points earned so far this season.
