Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS) run at the 2012 Lady Monctonian Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-1 loss to Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB). of the 2012 Lady Monctonian Invitational in Moncton, New Brunswick; Hilliard advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-1 win over Marie Christianson (Halifax, NS). of the 2012 Lady Monctonian Invitational in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Hilliard finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hilliard defeated Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) 10-6, then won 6-5 against Sarah Rhyno (Halifax, NS). Hilliard went on to lose 5-3 against Sandy Comeau (Moncton, NB). Hilliard lost 7-6 to Kelly MacIntosh (Dartmouth, NS) where Hilliard responded with a 6-4 win over Jocelyn Nix (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Hilliard earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational. For week 10 of the event schedule, Hilliard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hilliard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
