Marie Christianson (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2012 Lady Monctonian Invitational playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS). of the 2012 Lady Monctonian Invitational in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Christianson finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christianson defeated Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) 7-1, then went on to lose 10-3 against Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS). Christianson lost 5-4 to Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) where Christianson responded with a 6-4 win over New Brunswick's Jessica Ronalds. Christianson won 5-3 against Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

Christianson earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational. For week 10 of the event schedule, Christianson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Christianson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
