McGuire won 8-4 against Courtney Smith (Halifax, NS), then won 7-3 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

McGuire earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 128th place overall with 3.500 total points.
