Joe Frans (Bradford, ON) won 6-5 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the Final of the Harriston Cash Spiel, held March 9 - 10, 2013 in Harriston, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Frans won 6-0 over Mike Aprile (Listowel, ON) in the semifinals of the 2013 Harriston Cash Spiel in Harriston, Ontario; and won 4-2 over Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.

Frans finished 1-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Frans defeated Daryl Shane (Waterloo, ON) 7-3 in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Harriston Cash Spiel Championship title, Frans earned 6.050 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 22nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 96.882 total points. Frans ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.540 points earned so far this season.
