Brewster finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster defeated Scotland's Alan Hannah 7-3, then won 8-3 against England's Keith Wilson and 6-2 against Scotland's David Hay. Brewster won 9-4 against Adrian Meikle (Hawarden, WAL), then won 7-6 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brewster earned 1.680 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Stirling Invitational, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 131.582 total points. Brewster ranks 45th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.287 points earned so far this season.
