To advance to the championship game, Scoffin won 6-2 over Jayden Shwaga (Langenburg, SK) in the semifinals of the 2012 Whitney Field Jr. Curling Classic in Lloydminister, Alberta; and won 6-2 over Daniel Selke (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Whitney Field Jr. Curling Classic in Lloydminister, Alberta;
 
Scoffin finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scoffin defeated Selke 10-5, then won 10-2 against Dallas Burnett (Langham, SK). Scoffin went on to lose 7-2 against Michael Roy (Airdrie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
