Jayden Shwaga (Langenburg, SK) run at the 2012 Whitney Field Jr. Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-2 loss to Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB). of the 2012 Whitney Field Jr. Curling Classic in Lloydminister, Alberta; Shwaga advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-2 win over Shane Parcels (Red Deer, AB).
 
Shwaga finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shwaga defeated Brendin Serna (Edmonton, AB) 8-4, then won 5-2 against Josh Deibert (Edmonton, AB). Shwaga went on to lose 4-3 against Scott Smith (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
