Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB) lost 7-5 to Stacey Fordyce (Brandon, MB) in the Final of the King Spud Classic, held October 26 - 28, 2012 in Carberry, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, DeRiviere won 5-4 over Tina Kozak (Carberry, MB) in the semifinals
 
DeRiviere finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, DeRiviere defeated Deb Collyer (Winnipeg, MB) 7-2, then won 8-7 against Amanda Tymchuk (Winnipeg, MB). DeRiviere went on to lose 6-5 against Fordyce. DeRiviere responded with a 8-2 win over Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
