Mark Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2012 Ken Kurbis Galaxy Bonspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Scott Madams (Winnipeg, MB).
 
Lukowich finished 4-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lukowich lost 9-5 to Rob Cosens (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Bill Dauphinais (Winnipeg, MB) where Lukowich responded with a 8-1 win over Deb McCreanor (La Salle, MB). Lukowich won 7-1 against Cory Zdan (Virden, MB), then won 7-3 against Rick Moreton (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-2 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
