Darren Turcotte (Falher, AB) won 6-5 over Kellie Henricks (Grande Prairie, AB) in the Final of the Fort St. John Challenge, held November 9 - 11, 2012 in Fort St. John, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Turcotte won 8-2 over Donald Dumont (Falher, AB) in the semifinals of the 2012 Fort St. John Challenge in Fort St. John, British Columbia; and won 6-4 over Bob Cooper (Fort St. John, BC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Turcotte finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Turcotte defeated Courtney Rossing (Grande Prairie, AB) 5-0, then won 6-2 against Henricks and 9-6 against Karen Powell (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Turcotte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Turcotte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
