Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) finished 6-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Armstrong defeated Cassandra Lewin (Carp, ON) 7-1, then went on to lose 8-5 against Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON). Armstrong responded with a 8-7 win over Jaimee Gardner (Hamilton, ON). Armstrong won 5-4 against Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON), then won 8-6 against Susan Froud (Waterloo, ON) and 9-6 against Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON). Armstrong won 6-5 against Inglis in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier East, Armstrong take home 17.208 world rankings points, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 88th place overall with 50.065 total points. Armstrong ranks 68th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.533 points earned so far this season.
