To advance to the championship game, Ramsay won 7-4 over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2012 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba; and won 6-3 over Kyle Foster (Arborg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba;
 
Ramsay finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsay defeated Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) 7-6, then won 5-2 against Bob Sigurdson (Winnipeg, MB). Ramsay went on to lose 12-4 against Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB). Ramsay responded with a 7-2 win over David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the MCT Championships, Ramsay take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize, moving up 37 spots the World Ranking Standings into 175th place overall with 5.274 total points. Ramsay ranks 170th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.025 points earned so far this season.
