Matt Mielke (Medford, MA) finished 2-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mielke defeated Jeff Puleo (Forest Lake, MN) 10-1, then went on to lose 4-2 against Todd Birr (Mankato, MN). Mielke responded with a 9-1 win over Steve Birklid (Seattle, WA). Mielke went on to lose 8-3 against Owen Sampson (Edmore, ND). Mielke lost 8-0 to Mike Farbelow (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 21 of the event schedule, Mielke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mielke ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
