Krell finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krell defeated Michael McGaugh (Brampton, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 9-7 against Conor Joudrey (Mississauga, ON). Krell lost 8-6 to Lewis where Krell responded with a 9-4 win over Aaron Squires (St. Thomas, ON). Krell won 8-5 against Ben Miskew (Ottawa, ON), then won 8-7 against Jeff Brown (Shelburne, ON) and 6-2 against Ben Bevan (Ajax, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
