In their opening game, MacFadyen defeated Cody Dixon (Montague, PEI) 10-9, then went on to lose 8-3 against Shawn Pitre (Charlottetown, PEI). MacFadyen responded with a 9-6 win over Matthew MacLean (Cornwall, PEI). MacFadyen went on to lose 9-5 against Tyler Smith (Cornwall, PEI). MacFadyen responded with a 8-7 win over Justin Campbell (Summerside, PEI). MacFadyen went on to lose 8-6 against Christopher Gallant (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
