After advancing directly to the championship game, Amanda MacLean (Cornwall, PEI) lost 9-5 to Veronica Smith (Cornwall, PEI) in the Final of the PEI PEPSI Provincial Junior Women's Championship, held January 2 - 6, 2013 in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island.
 
MacLean finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacLean defeated Smith 7-6, then won 9-3 against Rachel O'Connor (Cornwall, PEI) and 8-3 against Kaleigh MacKay (Summerside, PEI). MacLean won 8-2 against Emily Keen (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, MacLean did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacLean ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
