Scharback finished 5-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scharback defeated Travis Tokarz (Weyburn, SK) 6-4, then won 9-2 against Allan Walter (Saskatoon, SK) and 5-3 against Tenetuik. Scharback won 12-1 against Zachary Turner (Saskatoon, SK), then won 11-4 against Kris Keating (Benson, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
