Jessica Hanson (Saskatoon, SK) won 9-8 over Kristen Streifel (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the SK Junior Women's Provincial Championship, held January 3 - 7, 2013 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
 
Hanson finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hanson defeated Malysha Johnstone (Moose Jaw, SK) 13-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Brooke Tokarz (Saskatoon, SK). Hanson responded with a 8-3 win over Nicole Thompson (Regina, SK). Hanson won 8-6 against Alison Ingram (St. Wallburg, SK), then won 8-2 against Katherine Michaluk (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Hanson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hanson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
