Whyte won 12-9 against Brenda Brouwer (Cold Lake, AB), then won 9-6 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). Whyte went on to lose 7-6 against Game. Whyte responded with a 6-2 win over Sakaluk. Whyte went on to lose 10-5 against Sweeting in their final qualifying round match.
