Kinney went on to lose 9-3 against Allison Pottinger (Eden Prairie, MN). Kinney responded with a 9-7 win over Becca Hamilton (McFarland, WI). Kinney went on to lose 7-3 against Sarah Anderson (Broomall, PA). Kinney lost 8-3 to Courtney George (Duluth, MN). Kinney lost 8-5 to Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY). Kinney lost 7-6 to Laura Roessler (Trempealeau, WI) in their final qualifying round match.

Kinney earned 2.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Kinney did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kinney ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
