Horgan finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Jenn Hanna (Ottawa, ON) 7-6, then won 7-6 against Julie Hastings (Toronto, ON) and 10-5 against Marlo Dahl (Thunder Bay, ON). Horgan went on to lose 10-6 against Jacqueline Harrison (Alliston, ON). Horgan lost 9-7 to Krista Mayrand (Cochrane, ON). Horgan lost 7-4 to McCarville where Horgan responded with a 9-2 win over Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON). Horgan won 10-9 against Carrie Lindner (Sarnia, ON), then won 12-3 against Lisa Farnell (Peterborough, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
