Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) lost 8-5 to Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 19 - 22, 2013 in Brockville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 7-2 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the semifinals
 
Homan finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Hollie Nicol (Toronto, ON) 5-1, then won 7-2 against Allison Ross (Montreal, PQ) and 7-3 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Homan won 3-1 against Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON). Homan went on to lose 8-4 against Ott in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Homan take home 11.295 world rankings points along with the $4,400CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 236.695 total points. Homan ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.295 points earned so far this season.
