Ott won 7-1 against Allison Ross (Montreal, PQ), then won 8-4 against Homan in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Ott earned 15.060 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 136.460 total points.
