Jill Shumay (Maidstone, SK) qualified for the 2013 Boundary Ford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Trish Paulsen (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2013 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada;

Shumay finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shumay defeated Ros Stewart (Saskatoon, SK) 9-4, then won 7-2 against Heather Jensen (Calgary, AB). Shumay went on to lose 8-6 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Shumay responded with a 8-2 win over Leslie Rogers (Edmonton, AB). Shumay went on to lose 8-5 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK). Shumay responded with a 7-6 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

Shumay earned 2.550 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Boundary Ford Curling Classic, remaining in 46th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 30.980 total points. Shumay ranks 100th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.925 points earned so far this season.
