Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB) qualified for the 2013 Bernick's Miller Lite Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-7 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, ON). of the 2013 Bernick's Miller Lite Open in Bemidji, Minnesota;

Muntain finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muntain defeated Ethan Meyers (Duluth, MN) 10-3, then won 8-0 against Rob Aitken (Bemidji, MN). Muntain went on to lose 8-2 against Minnesota's John Shuster. Muntain responded with a 9-7 win over Minnesota's Eric Fenson in their final qualifying round match.
