Stroh lost 7-4 to Trevor Perepolkin (Vernon, BC) where Stroh responded with a 8-0 win over Shane Park (Edmonton, AB). Stroh went on to lose 6-3 against Brock Virtue (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Stroh earned 1.580 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 360 spots the World Ranking Standings into 240th place overall with 1.580 total points. Stroh ranks 137th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.580 points earned so far this season.
