Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2014 Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). of the 2014 Players' Championship in Summerside, Prince Edward Island;
 
Lawton finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) 5-1, then went on to lose 11-4 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Lawton lost 8-4 to Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) where Lawton responded with a 7-2 win over Homan. Lawton won 5-3 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
