To advance to the championship game, Middaugh won 10-4 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2013 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings in Winnipeg, Manitoba;

Middaugh finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) 5-3, then went on to lose 6-3 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Middaugh lost 9-7 to Jones. Middaugh lost 6-5 to Homan where Middaugh responded with a 7-6 win over Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). Middaugh won 7-6 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB), then won 7-6 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings, Middaugh take home 35.000 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 196.085 total points. Middaugh ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 75.800 points earned so far this season.
