Josh Johnston (Toronto, ON) qualified for the 2013 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Aaron Squires (St. Thomas , ON).  of the 2013 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario; 
 
Johnston finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnston defeated Jonathan Doan (Sarnia, ON) 6-4, then won 1-0 against Ontario's Scott McDonald. Johnston went on to lose 1-0 against Craig Brown (Madison, WI). Johnston responded with a 5-3 win over Jake Walker (Brampton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Johnston earned 2.700 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, moving up 61 spots the World Ranking Standings into 166th place overall with 4.371 total points. Johnston ranks 104th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.700 points earned so far this season.
