Squires finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Squires defeated Jake Walker (Brampton, ON) 8-6, then won 6-2 against Ontario's Nick Rizzo and 1-0 against Jake Higgs (Glencoe, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Squires earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, moving up 52 spots the World Ranking Standings into 107th place overall with 9.050 total points. Squires ranks 62nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.850 points earned so far this season.
