Craig Kochan (Toronto, ON) lost 5-2 to Ontario's Wayne Tuck Jr. in the Final of the Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic, held November 13 - 17, 2013 at the Whitby Curling Club in Whitby, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kochan won 8-6 over Ontario's Jake Walker in the semifinals of the 2013 Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada; and won 4-3 over Ontario's Rob Retchless in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada;
 
Kochan finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kochan lost 6-5 to Nathan Martin (Oshawa , ON), then responded with a 6-5 win over Ontario's Alexander Dyer. Kochan won 8-3 against Ontario's Joe Frans, then won 6-5 against Jim Bell (Whitby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic, Kochan take home 5.110 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 95th place overall with 13.091 total points. Kochan ranks 61st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.110 points earned so far this season.
