Van Osch finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Osch defeated Shawna Jensen (Delta, BC) 13-4, then won 6-1 against Marilou Richter (New Westminster, BC) and 8-2 against Roberta Kuhn (Vernon, BC). Van Osch won 7-5 against Knezevic in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, Van Osch take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN prize, moving up 51 spots the World Ranking Standings into 147th place overall with 1.850 total points. Van Osch ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
