In their opening game, Ontario's Heather Graham defeated Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) 8-5, then won 9-4 against Marilyn Bodogh (St. Catharines, ON) and 7-3 against Ontario's Jennifer Spencer in their final qualifying round match.
