Richard Krell (Kitchener, ON) run at the 2013 KW Fall Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-4 loss to Ontario's Jake Walker. of the 2013 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; Krell advanced through the quarterfinals with a 4-3 win over Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON).
 
Krell finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krell defeated Ontario's Rob Retchless 7-5, then went on to lose 6-2 against Ontario's Dennis Moretto. Krell responded with a 4-3 win over Cory Heggestad (Orillia, ON). Krell went on to lose 5-2 against Ontario's Jake Walker. Krell responded with a 6-5 win over Heggestad in their final qualifying round match.
 
Krell earned 2.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the KW Fall Classic, moving up 275 spots the World Ranking Standings into 191st place overall with 2.250 total points. Krell ranks 67th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.250 points earned so far this season.
