Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dupont lost 7-4 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT) where Dupont responded with a 6-5 win over Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN). Dupont went on to lose 6-4 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Dupont responded with a 6-4 win over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Dupont went on to lose 10-6 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Dupont responded with a 5-3 win over Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). Dupont went on to lose 7-6 against Veronica Zappone (Trentino, ITA). Dupont lost 12-5 to Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RCF) in their final qualifying round match.

Dupont earned 9.337 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 44.518 total points. Dupont ranks 125th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.526 points earned so far this season.
