Advancing directly to the semifinals, Brown won 8-5 over Ryan Lemke (Medford, WI) to advance to the championship game. of the 2013 FSCC Early Cash in Blaine, Minnesota;
 
Brown finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Stephen Dropkin (St. Paul, MN) 7-4, then won 8-3 against Peter Stolt (Plymouth, MN) and 7-1 against John Lilla (St Paul, MN). Brown won 7-3 against Eric Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the FSCC Early Cash Championship title, Brown earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,084CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 62nd place overall with 17.094 total points. Brown ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
