Brown won 7-3 against Eric Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the FSCC Early Cash Championship title, Brown earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,084CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 62nd place overall with 17.094 total points. Brown ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
